2021-2024 H2020 ICT-58 HUBIQUITOUS is a an Innovation Action aiming at creating a joint Africa-Europe Startup & Innovation Ecosystem for long-term collaborations and partnerships. With lessons learned from H2020 WAZIUP and H2020 WAZIHUB to build innovation networks in Africa, HUBiquitous is scaling up capacity-building & innovation in Digital Innovation Hubs accross Africa. Providing access to advanced IoT, AI and Edge-Computing resources is one of the main contribution of the project.
In HUBiquitous, I defined the SolutionLab concept. This is one of the 3 Innovation Enablers proposed initially by the H2020 HUBiquitous project. The major obstacle to innovation in disruptive technologies in Africa resides in the lack of access to development & testing infrastructures. SolutionLab will provide the capacity to learn, develop, test, experiment, pilot and innovate in disruptive IoT, AI and BigData technologies for the technical communities.
The online tutorial platform started with H2020 WAZIHUB has been restructured to be a component of the SolutionLab. The video below explains the concept of SolutionLab as proposed by HUBiquitous.
At the end of the project, the SolutionLab has then be integrated into the more general WaziLab framework designed by WAZIUP e.V.
